Middle School (Grade VI - X)

The Middle School utilizes subject areas to foster a rigorous approach to education. This approach effectively caters to the emotional, physical, and social well-being of young individuals, ultimately cultivating self-awareness, creativity, empathy, attentive listening, and effective communication skills. The various disciplines are taught in a comprehensive and interconnected manner, emphasizing the concepts of what is being learned and the global contexts of why it is being learned. Key ideas serve as broad, overarching concepts that transcend individual subjects and facilitate connections with other areas of study. The global context aims to develop an international perspective, ensuring that learning is relevant and equipping students with the values and competencies necessary for global engagement.

Classroom instruction takes on a dynamic approach, incorporating theater activities, hands-on projects, and seamless integration of technology. In the Middle School, students actively participate in a formal and comprehensive program that encourages them to fully engage in the learning process. Activities outside the classroom become increasingly important during this pivotal stage of growth, with an emphasis on developing personal and group skills.

Both regular classes and special assemblies provide ample opportunities for each student to showcase their talents on stage, while still valuing the fundamental principles of their esteemed institution. Lastly, the Middle School offers a mental health program that plays a crucial role in providing emotional support. Through workshops and other initiatives, this program serves as an emotional anchor, ensuring that our young students remain grounded, confident, and happy members of society.
