plastic free campus

The drive for a plastic free campus was designed to empower the students to lead an environmental campaign in their school. It is a pupil- led drive. The school has adopted a Zero Waste approach in order to reduce landfill waste and pollution.

The students bring their own steel tiffins from home and avoid using plastic tiffins. Student volunteers collect waste plastic from each class every alternate day. This is then used to make flower pots, decoration items, pen stands, etc.

We have also made stools, water dispensers, decorative items, Diwali lights, etc. using waste plastic bottles.
