We are heartbroken to announce the sudden demise of Aarav Kushwaha (X D), a much loved member of the OPG fraternity. His bright smile and carefree, ever-so- happy nature endeared him to us all. We pray for strength for his parents and family to deal with a tragedy of such magnitude. We will miss you Aarav and you will remain in our thoughts always.

Harshit Bansal secured a double gold medal at the CBSE Skating Competition, hosted at GR International School from 27-29 October 2023 in Bawana. He secured the top spot in both 500 meters and 1000 meters races.

OPG World School Hosts Basketball Extravaganza

The 2nd Satish Chandra Memorial Basketball Tournament was held at OPG World School from October 16th to 20th, 2023. Prominent participating teams included the OPG Boys and Girls Teams, ITL Public School Dwarka, and Tagore International School Vasant Vihar. These squads demonstrated their exceptional skills on the court, ensuring the competition was intensely riveting. After intense competition, the OPG Boys Team emerged victoriously against ITL Public School in the boys' finals. Similarly, the OPG Girls Team clinched the title against Tagore International School in the girls' finals. The girls' championship match, spotlighting the OPG Girls Team and Tagore International School Vasant Vihar, was equally exhilarating. The event showcased exceptional talent and teamwork, honoring the legacy of Satish Chandra. Congratulations to both OPG teams for their commendable victories!

Zone 21 excelled in the girls' category, securing the 2nd Runner-Up position through hard work and teamwork. Kanan Sehrawat, a standout player from OPG World School, made a significant impact with her agility and strategic gameplay. The tournament featured intense matches, emphasizing sportsmanship and healthy competition. Overall, it was a successful event that celebrated young talent and inspired future athletes to excel in basketball.

Yajas Gupta (IV D) Achieves Global Rank 131 in ICode Global Hackathon 2023 - A Remarkable Feat!

In a thrilling display of skating prowess, students from various classes at OPG World School shone brightly at the prestigious Gandhi Jayanti Skating Competition. Reyan Bag of class 1-D raced to victory, clinching the coveted Gold medal, while Mahir Agrawal from 1-C adorned our school walls with a well-deserved Bronze medal. The winning streak continued with Yukt Sharma of 2-D and Lakshit Panghal of 3-C both securing Bronze medals. Paridhi Goyal from 9-B amazed all with her Gold medal performance, while Riya Rawat of 8-B and Saksham Prajapati of 9-C gracefully earned Silver medals. Darsh Thakur of 8-C seized the Gold, and Sarim Saifi of 8-A glided to Silver. Shradha Sahay from 10-A proudly claimed Silver, and Shail Puri from 7-C skillfully captured the Bronze. Congratulations to all our talented skaters for making us proud!

On October 6, 2023, two standout students from our school clinched prizes at the 'Art Battle' hosted by the esteemed Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Delhi. Competing against top Delhi schools, Rishit Jain from class VIII won 1st place in the Middle category, while Prabhnoor Kaur of class XI secured third in the Senior category. Their passionate creativity earned them trophies and certificates.
