A fun-filled Learning Experience Beyond the Classroom
In an exciting exploration outside the classroom, the energetic Grade 2 students embarked on a captivating journey on December 1st to uncover the marvels of their local community. Their destination included the 'Daily Delite' supermarket and 'Evergreen Sweets' restaurant in Sector 10, Dwarka.
At the supermarket, the children were left amazed by shelves stocked with goodies and aisles brimming with possibilities. They learned about various fruits, vegetables, healthy and unhealthy food items, and everyday essentials. Witnessing the age-old flour mill in action became a captivating highlight. Handling real money, they made purchases of their choice, gaining practical experience.
Later, the hungry second graders visited Evergreen Sweets, where they ordered a healthy snack from a specially designed menu. They also gained insights into the journey of food, learning to appreciate the hard work behind the meals on their plate.
With heartfelt gratitude, the children thanked all the community helpers who made this fun-filled educational excursion possible. This trip served as a meaningful extension of their classroom lessons, providing real-world context to their studies.
