OPG World School was established in 2007 under the guidance of prominent educationist Mr. Shomie Das, who has spent over four decades in national as well as international educational environments. It was also promoted by Chandra Education and Welfare Society.

An educationalist par excellence, he has been associated with some of the premier public schools of India in the capacity of Headmaster at The Doon School, Dehradun, as well as The Lawrence School, Sanawar, and as Principal at Mayo College, Ajmer.

OPG World School is recognised for providing a well-rounded and progressive education to its students through the means of a broad and balanced curriculum. Over 2 acres of land is available for pupils to explore and learn in large open areas for co-curricular and sports activities.

The state of the art infrastructure incorporates fully-equipped:- science labs, ICT suite, art, dance, music studios, and an indoor theatre as well as an amphitheatre to ensure that all specialist subject needs are catered for.
